Denton Record-Chronicle

The ''Denton Record-Chronicle'' is the main newspaper for the city of Denton, Texas and Denton County.
In 1899, William Edwards consolidated the ''Denton Chronicle'' (1882) and the ''Denton County Record'' (1898), as a weekly newspaper. It was not until August 3, 1903 that the paper was published daily. The estimated daily subscription circulation in 2011 was 9,200, with a Wednesday circulation of 24,700 (delivered to subscribers and free to non-subscribers) and a Sunday circulation of 12,500.
It is currently owned by the A. H. Belo Corporation.
